- Growth on Twitter is…
Growth on Twitter is…
Control your emotions.
Passion is not a feeling of constant motivation.
Passion is being frustrated and enduring the feeling.
It is in this state that most people quit.
Starting motivated and ecstatic.
"Tweeting to the void." Visibility zero. Quitting on the spot.
Growth is not linear.
Three weeks I tweeted to the emptiness of Twitter.
The first week was amazing. Feeling like I discovered a new world.
Then it hit me. Frustration and negative thinking.
"This is not going to work, give up."
Experience is a key factor in this.
Giving up is the failure.
Eleven years of fighting in a cage is hard work.
The grind is not fun. Repetition is not fun.
There will be ups and downs.
Learning skills does not happen overnight. "Grind teeth."
Feelings are overrated.
Not feeling like it today.
Understand, it is not about feeling good or bad.
I do the same things despite how I feel.
Twitter is the same thing.
No growth. I tweet. No likes. I tweet. No followers. I tweet. Repetition is the key.
Do the work despite how you feel.
I'm wired that way.
Obsessive and passionate.
Outwork everybody else.
Glimpse of hope.
Connections are the best things going for you in the beginning.
Find 5-8 people.
Look for accounts in the same follower range as you.
Engage with each other.
Every day.
I found one person, and we started to engage with our tweets.
Slowly my circle of friends on Twitter was getting bigger.
At the end of April, I had 94 followers.
Find connections. Engage. Find a group.
Milestones.
People say don't post milestones. What a load of garbage.
200 → 300 followers in three days.
Insane.
Something is working…
Thank you. 🙏🏼💯

I got 400 followers in two weeks when I started to post milestones.
Followers are not everything on Twitter, but it doesn't hurt either.
I flexed my milestones on 100-200-300-400...
You get the picture.
Share valuable advice at the same time and make it fun.
Write better.
I can't stress this enough.
You have to practice your writing skills.
People won't read, and you will not hold attention if your writing is poor.
No way around it.
Write good English.
Writing will get you attention, followers, potential clients, growth, and an engaged audience.
If you don't know how to write, you need a guide.
I learned myself by reading books on writing and testing my writing on Twitter.
Books can be a guide.
People can be a guide.
Study what others are doing.
Help others.
You have a little bit of growth now.
Helping others behind you is a great way to learn and make new connections.
You will build authority and a reputation as an all-around nice person.
People will DM you for advice.
I will answer all my DMs if they are genuine.
That’s it for today.
See you in the next one.
Kai.
