The Lucky Chops Case.
Dancing with the devil.
I was listening to a song by Lucky Chops in Youtube.
Stumbled in to the comment section…
The highlighted reply caught my eye.
”I'm a combat veteran who's fallen on hard times. A few nights ago I was at the darkest point in my life, then I found your videos. Thank you. You saved me from doing something stupid. Keep up the great work guys.”
This is amazing. A man watches a music video and it prevents total ruin.
The reason why it hit me so hard was…
I know the darkest place. I have been there.
25 years ago I was watching myself in the mirror and seeing a dead man walking.
No will to live.
The drugs did only one thing for me…
Let me sleep.
When I opened my eyes to the nightmare of reality…
I wanted to get back to sleep.
Back to the mirror. Best moment in my life.
I saw the reality and made the choice to stop.
After a month, I was sitting on a porch, drinking coffee, and listening to birds singing—alive.
For someone who danced with the devil in the pale moonlight…
It was eye opening.
Like the man in the Lucky Chops comment section…
The darkest moment can turn to the greatest journey in one second…
Listen
Observe
Get out of your head
The next second might hold the key to…
Salvation.
I learned this lesson again last night…
Another story for another time.
Keep moving my friends.
P.S.
