A Mad Scientist...

My winning recipe.

I've been running an experiment for a month now.

My content strategy was to post 3-5 times a day for a long time.

Eight months in, I've never missed a day on 𝕏.

But, the current state of 𝕏 isn't worth me posting more than 2-3 times a day…

The experiment involved alternating between:

  • Short form + Long form

  • Short form + Short form

  • Long form + Long form

I tried all of them…

The best results are 2-3 long-form posts per week and the rest as short form.

Actionable, helpful content with personality. I blend everything together…

Like a mixed martial artist…

The simpler I write, the more it resonates…

I stopped trying to build an audience (Problem statement).

Instead, I focused on creating helpful content (Solution).

As a result, I built an audience (Result).

This is a simple framework.

The result is more impressions, followers, and engagement.

Vanity metrics. Don’t be fooled by them….

You need eyes on your content.

You need engagement.

You need followers.

If you are a creator like me, you need these vanity metrics.

Of course, you can sign clients, make money, and everything else without a big following.

But a big following doesn't hurt.

I don't hear any larger accounts complaining that they have too many views or followers.

So, going forward, I will be posting 2-3 times a day with the combinations mentioned above.

Another thing I noticed… commenting 30 times a day works just fine for me.

In the beginning, you have to do more… there's no way around it.

If I were a beginner, I would be posting 3-4 times a day and commenting 30-50 times a day.

You need to get to know people, and commenting is a great way to do it.

Make friends, Crack jokes, make yourself known.

It’s a grind but we all have to do it.

In other news…

YouTube has been keeping me busy.

My podcast hit 600K views.

A little trick for aspiring YouTubers:

  • Shorts can now recommend another video or Shorts…

  • I will direct the short I publish to the short I published the day before…

  • When the long video is posted, I will direct every short to the longer video.

  • In a few days, the views start to affect the longer video, and the algorithm loves it.

30% increase in views for the long form video and a boost for the shorts.

The amount of traffic you can drive from these platforms (IG, TikTok, and YouTube) is mind-blowing….

Even from a small country like Finland.

I saw another creator blow up on Instagram. She started posting a month ago.

Staying just on Twitter and trying to comment yourself to glory is a long road.

Don’t get me wrong… Twitter is great and the best networking platform.

The winning creator of 2024 will have many assets.

Have a nice Sunday, friends.

I love listening to audiobooks. I get my paid ones from Audible, but there are great ones free on YouTube.
