Deep conversations in the middle of the night, dinners in fascinating restaurants, sex in every place in the world…
All good, right?
Three years in, we got into heated arguments…
A shadow was cast.
I counted 14 break-ups and getting back together…
It was not working. I knew it, she knew it…
But…
We invested time and effort into the relationship.
‘This time it will be different.’
The typical thought pattern in my mind…

I worked in the medical field for 16 years.
Working three shifts with drug addicts, mental patients, and the criminally ill.
